This is my video for a video resume contest among universities in Taiwan. Please help me win the First Place by leaving comments, rating up and sharing this video for me. I NEED A LOT OF VIEWS TO WIN!!! xiexie dajia/ 謝謝大家! xoxoxo :*)
Da jia hao, hao jiu bu jian! :*) I hope you all are doing very well. Today I took you to my hometown, Jhongli which is located in Taoyuan county northern part of Taiwan. The Jhongli city is not only known for XinMing Beef Noodle but also other traditional delicacies. In this video, we have a glimpse at one of the most well-known Taiwanese traditional food, Beef Noodle.
Xie xie nimen de zhichi. Thank you all for your support! :*) Muuuaaaahhhh!
Please vote for me to be a candidate of the 5th News Anchor of TVBS competition, a news station in Taiwan.
This is my first time recording news in Mandarin (I have been a Campus English News Anchor of my university for a year and half), therefore it's been pretty challenging and I didn't decide to take on the challenge until the last minute. I didn't think I did a good job but it was still worth trying!
Please vote me up! But I think you will need to sign up as a member to vote and the website is in Mandarin, which makes it challenging for you too. Oops! Anyway, please vote if you don't bother getting through the language barrier; if not, your support is still very much appreciated! :)
Another student of mine whom I have begun tutoring on Skype about this time last year in September is finally visiting Taiwan! :) It's a pleasure to have finally met Derrick in person. I took him to the night market, try out the best beef noodle in town and Taiwanese deep fried snacks! Yummy~~~
Derrick agreed to be in an interview on what it is like to have private Mandarin lessons from Peggy. :*) If you are interested in 1 on 1 Chinese tutor lessons, please visit One on One Chinese Lessons with Peggy on Skype
Ever since I have started the tutor lessons on Skype, learners throughout the world discovered me on YouTube. I have taught people from Australia, France, Bangladesh, Canada, America, Kenya. It's so much FUN to get to meet people from different places! You are the next! ; )
Midnight, I dragged my tired body home from a day of filming outdoor under the sun and the heat. We filmed in Danshui today, a tourists’ hot spot in Taipei which is about an hour and 30 minutes away from where I live. I felt so beat! I needed a hot shower! On my way home on the train, I had a thought.
