Taiwan Dragon and Tiger Tunnel that brings you fortune! 一趟龍虎塔可以為你帶來好運唷~ :)
This year is the 10th year of Wannian Folklore Festival(10/16-10/24) in Zuoying, Kaohsiung Taiwan. The purposes of boom the economics of Zuoying and preserving Taiwanese traditional culture gave birth to this festival in the year of 2001. Here I was at Lotus Lake(蓮池潭) where its beauty and the harmoniousness predominate the whole place even when it was packed with visitors. My eyes were, however, instantly caught by Dragon and Tiger Pagoda(龍虎塔) as I strolled along Lotus Lake. The meaning or the belief of "Expelling bad luck, bring in good fortune" represents a strong sense of Taiwanese traditional culture as there are numbers of other cultural practices we have that are based on such a belief.
Are you running out of your luck? Are you feeling down and out? A visit to Dragon and Tiger Pagoda could bring you the fortune you need! :D
Dajia hao! This is an update to all of you on the recent difficulty I've met which is what took me so long to upload a new lesson. I am sorry it will have to be the most basic style without much fancy editing and juicy role-plays but it doesn't mean they are not there. I do have a few scripts ready with rich content....Anyways, before I find someone to help me with my videos, this is gonna be how I roll: me sitting in front of the camera and teach YOU Mandarin. And it gives me an opportunity to finally get close and personal with YOU.... ;)
I am trying to save up Camera Fund for better quality videos to you all. I have been using the one I used in this video, which is the only one I have, for nearly two years and evidently, it doesn't have a good microphone because it's not a video camera. You can help make it happen by sending your donation to peggyteacheschinese@gmail.com
