Peggy Lee as a Chinese News Anchor

Please vote for me to be a candidate of the 5th News Anchor of TVBS competition, a news station in Taiwan.

This is my first time recording news in Mandarin (I have been a Campus English News Anchor of my university for a year and half), therefore it's been pretty challenging and I didn't decide to take on the challenge until the last minute. I didn't think I did a good job but it was still worth trying!

Please vote me up! But I think you will need to sign up as a member to vote and the website is in Mandarin, which makes it challenging for you too. Oops! Anyway, please vote if you don't bother getting through the language barrier; if not, your support is still very much appreciated! :)

Worksheet for Intermediate Mandarin Lesson , Conditional Sentences

A request from one of my viewers on my Facebook (Click to befriend me!)

"Your videos are great! It looks like you're holding a script while you're talking. Is there anyway you could upload those scripts with your videos? It would be great to have the 漢字, pinyin, and translations in a copy-and-pasteable format :D" - Seth

The following will link you to download the lesson script I used in this video. I hope the availability of this learning material will help you grasp the usage of it much easier! :)

Basic Mandarin , Trying on Clothes

Bu hao yi si! It had been a while that I had not uploaded any new Mandarin lessons. The thing is I was under a hectic search of new producers and I was lucky to have been introduced to this production crew called FirstZoom.tv As you can see in the latest video, the problem many viewers had been complaining about, the audio quality, has finally been improved thanks to their professional skills and equipment.  :)

About two weeks ago, I went up to Taipei and we had a scout about the streets near our studio to look for shops and places we were allowed to film. I went in there store by store to explain to the owner my channel and the purpose of our filming and hopefully they could support us by letting us film there. Luckily, most shop owners were more than welcome when they knew it was to promote Mandarin learning to the learners worldwide. You can see my thanking the owners as it is displayed at the end of the video. :P

I am glad that I got to work with new people. It has been a pleasure working with FirstZoom.tv I appreciate their patience and time spent on my videos. In addition, I will also be featured in some of their videos on DiscoverFomosa in which topics about travelling to Taiwan will be covered such as culture, food and people. I am looking forward to it and for those who enjoy my videos, watch out for those! ;)

Finally, I hope this lesson helps you with your shopping in Mandarin speaking countries. Sorry about the long wait. I appreciate your patience and support! Next video won't take so long la. :) Xie xie!

泰好玩 10 Days in Thailand in Bikini

Teacher Peggy needed to take a break from school and work therefore she took herself on a trip she had been longing for to Kingdom of Thailand for 10 days. In order to experience the lifestyle of an escape from all the stress, the 10 days had been phoneless and internetless. However, she did not stop thinking about all her dear viewers and supporters throughout the world. :*) So I put up this video as an update to share with you guys a part of my vacation. Wo zhen de hen xiang ni men. Xi wang ni men guo de duo hen hao. :)

Intermediate Chinese , Sentence Pattern

It's a lesson request from tsweezy101 on the sentence pattern of describing a person's capacity of performing an action. In addition, I have included two more sentence patterns which are used to describe the quantity or the time spent an action has required. The three sentence patterns in this lesson are fairly useful and commonly used on a daily basis. :)

You can make YOUR lesson request here on my website too! ;)
