When & While Sentence , Taiwan College Life with Mahjong

This lesson covers the subordinating conjunction, when and while. The pattern "當...的時候/dang1...de5 shi2hou4" is used in Mandarin. You can see the same pattern goes on in different sentences that mean different things but other grammatical functions such as progressive 在zai4 and 一直 yi4zhi2 + Verb, are added to elaborate what speaker intends to express.

Near the end of the video is a simple update of my recent school life: Mahjong(麻將) it is! :D Just kidding la!

I really appreciate how much time and effort you put into these cute lessons. And I especially like how you give us some colloquial ways to talk to. :) Keep up the good work!

Oh! I also wanted to say that I think you teach very well!! You give example sentences that are helpful, you talk in Chinese at all opportunities, the grammar you teach is very helpful, and I think your personality is really good for this. You seem very passionate and I like especially in this vid when you talked a little about your dorm.

Thanks! And keep up the good work!
