Why You Should Make a Video Response in Mandarin!
Monday, January 4, 2010 at 1:19AM 新年快樂! Xin Nian Kuai Le! :)
Thank you all your continuous support to PeggyTeachesChinese in the past year. I really appreciate it!
In the new of 2010, I hope our lessons will continue to inspire you and even more people to learn Mandarin. Not only do I wish this community for learning Mandarin would continue to grow by making these lessons but also look forward to the share of experiences and knowledge contributed by more learners. "I don't want other people to know how bad my Mandarin is" you might think. But please let me remind you that making mistakes is also a part of learning. Moreover, as a language learner, you don't want to be all shy and too self-conscious. Take myself as an example, English has never been my native language but I wasn't afraid to speak English since I first started to learn; that is why my English is better than people who began to learn it at the same time with me, even those who have been to an English speaking country to learn the language. I am now learning Japanese and I apply the same technique, same attitude.
That being said, I'd like to share with you the video responses made by learners from my channel whom I appreciated for their contribution and I am touched by the effort they made in order to learn Mandarin. I know so do you make great effort to learn Mandarin but come on, show us what you got! I hope after watching their videos, they would inspire you the way they do to me. ;)
