Taipei Tweetup + Cai Guo Qiang's Art Show

Yay! School is finally over! This was my first week of the winter break. I got a new hair look and I have finally gotten a chance to regain the social life that has long lost.

I spent a day in Taipei yesterday. I went to an art show(Cai Guo – Qiang: Hanging Out in the Museum) with friends from school. It was great to finally be there to appreciate Cai's art works. In the evening, I attended Taipei Tweetup dinner party, which was fantastic! Got to get together with my other friends again and meet new people. It really was a blast! ;)

Taipei Fine Arts Museum:

My friends from school, Evan, Jeremy and Kenny. Kenny said he and Jeremy are also people who appreciate art and culture; they really cracked me up all the way from Taoyuan to Taipei.

An awesome work of Cai being displayed at the lobby of Taipei Fine Arts Museum. Cameras are not allowed in the museum; if you live in Taipei, I highly recommend you to go down there and see it for yourself. That was the best 200NTD I've ever spent in my life!

Taipei Tweetup Dinner Party:

Carrie and I. Carrie, the host of this Tweetie meetup features my Mandarin lessons on her website: myseveralworlds.com once a week, you should check it out. :)

My good friend, Jenna the founder and the clothes/assessories designer of RiceSociety. Not long ago, she set a goal for herself to not shop for 100 days and if she needed new clothes, she had to make them by herself. The mission was not easy but she made it! Jenna is doing a fantastic job! I've always admired people who are gifted the talent of creativity; she is one of them! You should take a look at her 100-day-outfit on her blog: RiceSociety

DJ Marcus and I. Marcus runs Waakao.com - Your Taiwan; from which you are exposed to information about art, culture, food, parties and people. Marcus has also featured my YouTube videos for a couple of times, which was a tremendeous help when I was in the Fun Taiwan Co-Host contest thanks to the heavy traffic that runs in his website every single day.

Peggy,

I am so glad that you could come to the Tweet-up. I think everyone had a good time. I'm already looking forward to the next one. This year is going to be your year. I can just see it, "2010 the year of Peggy Lee!"

Thank you, Carrie! The Tweet-up was a success! I had so much fun and was happy that I met so many new people. :) I cannot wait to see you again, let me know if something is up in Taipei.

By the way, my sister really liked you. She said "ni3 hen3 qin1 qie4." and I agreed. :)
